We are incredibly grateful to all of you for participating in the inaugural WordCamp of Hampton Roads. If not for the support and backing of our sponsors, we would not have been able to bring top-notch speakers for your sessions. And since no event is possible with the volunteers working with us behind the scenes, we cannot thank their help enough.
Now that we have hosted the first WordCamp for our area, we hope to see all of you back next year. For those who are curious about the photographs that were snapped during the event, they are being uploaded to our Slideshow page. Enjoy!
Many thanks again,
The Organizers of WordCamp Hampton Roads
We’re closing our call for speakers tonight, but we’d like to see submissions on WordPress SEO and E-commerce. If you’re well-versed in either of these areas, we want to hear from you! Please fill out the speaker request form right away so we can get your topic in for consideration:

We’re closing the call for speakers on Monday night, 8/24, at midnight. If you’re on the fence about applying, it’s time to get off and get that proposal in!
Ladies, particularly developers, we want to hear from you! Send us your speaker proposals. We’re also planning on having a “Women of WordPress” Panel Discussion, and would like to round out the panel with 1-2 more women who are theme or plugin developers, or who operate an agency. This panel discussion is to encourage other women who are in, or considering, a business or career involving WordPress, whether in design/development or as a blogger.
Apply to speak here.
The call for speakers is now closed.
